About 20,000 christians a group of US signed a petition addressed to Netflix to ask to cancel the series, Good Omens, based on the work of Neil Gaiman and Terry Pratchett. The mini-series was launched last month, but, as you know, has been produced and is available on Amazon Prime.

But the christians of the countryside Return to Order, an offshoot of the american Foundation for a christian civilization, are not in agreement with the contents of the series. Supporters say that Good Omens is “another step to make satanism a normal, lightweight, and acceptable” and “mocks the wisdom of God”. God, you complain, is “voiced by a woman” – Frances McDormand -the antichrist is a “normal guy”, and what is more important, “this type of product... it destroys the barriers of horror that the company still has to the devil”.

ok we promise not to make any more https://t.co/TRPux36kcX

Gaiman (but also Netflix) has responded to the petition on Twitter, writing: “I would like you to write to Netflix to try to obtain the cancellation of #GoodOmens. Says it all really. It is so amazing... promise me not to tell them.”
