Now, in an interview with The Guardian Martin has revealed that she's developing “a couple of other shows for HBO which I still talk to.” These shows seem to be in addition to the catalog of the above. As Martin himself can't talk about it yet, it is not clear exactly on what to focus, even if, considering the curriculum vitae of the writer, it is likely that they will have to do with science fiction or fantasy.

Little is known of the upcoming spin-off de The Throne of Swords, which will not begin to go on the air until at least 2020. One has apparently been set aside, even if another would have already entered production. Last month, Martin revealed that the title of the first prequel was The Long Night. However, later he said that The Long Night is not the official title, although it claims to prefer it.

Of thrones will return for its last season in 2019, with the cast composed by Peter Dinklage as Tyrion Lannister, Nikolaj Coster-Waldau as Jaime Lannister, Lena Headey as Cersei Lannister, Emilia Clarke as Daenerys Targaryen and Kit Harington as Jon Snow.
