Fortnite reaches 125 million active users after launching on iOS
After the launch of Fortnite for iOS the popular multiplayer game, has made record 125 million active players in the last month. Epic Games has promised new full-bodied prizes for future competitions planned within the game.
Fortnite is a game platform free, released a couple of months ago, even on iOS. Its point of strength, the mode Battle Royale, can be played online between users of all platforms at the same time. The qualifications for the Fortnite World Cup will start in the autumn, while the real competition will begin in late 2019. The Fortnite World Cup will focus in the solo mode and Duo, but there will be many competitions with the mode Squad.
In total, the developers will put in a prize of a hundred million dollars, which will be distributed at various competitions around the world. The figure may seem large, but we have to consider that only in the first month after launching on iOS the game has earned $ 25 million dollars.
