The film will debut on the 28th of February 2020 and will be filmed next year. Director Jeff Wadlow will direct the film, and co-writers Chris Roach and Jillian Jacobs will help him to write the screenplay. The head of Blumhouse's Jason Blum will produce the film, with Wadlow as the executive producer.

Fantasy Island aired on ABC from 1978 to 1984, and even in Italy.

In the show, the mysterious Mr. whom roarke welcomes visitors on an island, and granted the realization of their fantasies, but at a price. The series was preceded by two television movies in 1977 and 1978. The iconic Ricardo Montalbàn has made famous the role of Mr. whom roarke, but it was Hervé Villechaize, who played Tattoo, to characterize the series. Whom roarke gave the people moral lessons through their fantasies by showing where the error fell with their behaviors. This could prove to be a huge franchise for Blumhouse if they play their cards right. Worth is a wonderful choice for the role, as can attest anyone who has seen the films of the MCU, having the swagger and the poise that can be compared to those of Montalbàn.

Fantasy Island, with Michael Pena, Lisa Hale, Jimmy O. Yang, Portia Doubelday, Maggie Q, and Ryan Hansen, and directed by Jeff Wadlow, will debut on February 28, 2020.
