Fairy Tail: two new characters in the roster
Koei Tecmo Europe and the developer Gust Studios have revealed five new playable characters and additional details on the intense battle systems the JRPG Fairy Tail, available in the spring of 2020 on the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4 and Windows PC via Steam.
Based on the anime and on the manga of Hiro Mashima, players will be able to immerse yourself in a fantastic tale that goes from the arc of the Island of Tenrou up to the arc of Tartaros, along with new episodes of the original.
Fairy Tail will Natsu and the team fight against a variety of enemies during their journey to become the guild number 1 of Flower. The team battle will be composed of a maximum of five wizards, allowing the characters fan favorite to join the team to perform impressive magic attacks that will be displayed on a grid, three by three, on the field of battle.
Each move inflicts some damage on all of rivals: the choice of appropriate fittings can ensure a quick victory over enemies annoying. Dealing damage, players will fill the Fairy Gauge’. The special attack, ‘Magic Chain’, allows each member of the group to inflict a combo of attacks before unleashing a powerful finishing blow, are sometimes strong characters, as the beloved leader of the guild, Makarov, can even inflict devastating damage with their “Extreme Magic”.
When the team ally suffers a heavy damage, the character can awaken abilities dormant for a few rounds, dramatically increasing their powers. Some mages even have access to new attacks: the Dragon Slayer can use “Dragon Force” instead of their abilities “Awakened”, while some magicians can perform a “Mode Change” that offers a wide range of new battle options.
The famous “Lightning Fire Dragon's Iron Fist” of Natsu is an example of the augmented abilities that can be performed. Some mages are even able to perform a powerful combination of attacks, known as “Unison Raid”, triggering a special movie “Unison Raid” just before unleashing an incredible attack against the incoming enemies.
Gust Studios has announced five new playable characters who join the fray, which does not come from Fairy Tail , but from the guilds rivals of the Flower. Among the new characters there are the ‘Sky God Slayer’, Sherria Blendy of Lamia Scale, Kagura Mikazuchi of Mermaid Heel, the ‘Strongest Fencer’; the mage of the Blue Pegasus Ichiya Vandalay Kotobuki; the ‘White Dragon’ Sting Eucliffe, and the ‘Shadow Dragon’ Rogue Cheney of Sabertooth.
These exciting new additions to the cast combine with the characters already announced Natsu Dragneel, Lucy Heartfilia, Grey Fullbuster, Ezra Scarlet, Wendy Marvell, Gajeel Redfox and Juvia Lockser, all ready for battle with powerful magical abilities. With more than 12 playable characters available, players will be able to form a dream team with the members of Fairy Tail and their rivals and go on an incredible adventure.
