Fairy Tail: 100 Years Quest, the cover of the 1st volume of the manga

Starting from Friday, November 9, 2018 Kodansha will publish throughout Japan and online stores the 1st volume of the manga series Fairy Tail: 100 Years Quest, the official sequel of the manga of Fairy Tail, designed by Atsuo Ueda (Dr. I) with the original author of the series, Hiro Mashima in charge of the storyboard of the chapters.

The sequel, which began on July 25, 2018, and is published every two months, follows the story of a masterpiece the original Fairy Tail, written and illustrated by Hiro Mashima from 2006 to 2017 on Weekly Shonen Magazine.

Returning to the first number, on the web has appeared a preview of the cover of the sequel. Here is the illustration by Atsuo Ueda:

The sequel is square, temporally, immediately after the end of Fairy Tail (chapter 545) and sees the return of the characters made famous in the manga Mashima, or Natsu, Lucy, Happy and the companions of the Guild of Fairy Tail.

Fairy Tail: 100 Years Quest began on July 25, 2018 on the Weekly Shonen Magazine and is currently published 10 chapters.

Fairy Tail has been serialized in the pages of Weekly Shonen Magazine from 2006 to July 2017; the volume 63, the last of the series, has been published in the libraries of the japanese on 17 November 2017.

In Italy, Fairy Tail, is in course of publication for Edizioni Star Comics 58 volumes available.

The animated series, starting from 7 October, is broadcasting in Japan last season.
