It will be a winter full of great movie titles Home Videos under Eagle Pictures. Below, we bring you all the outputs scheduled for December 2019.
The first christmas release by Eagle Pictures, will be “Apocalypse Now – Final Cut” ,
available from 12 December in a limited edition and never-before-seen, restored, by the same, Francis Ford Coppola, with breathtaking realism, and in accordance with the highest standard of audio and video in Ultra HD.
In particular, the edition will contain a collectible numbered and well 4 disks, with the version of Final Cut 2019 in 4K UHD and in HD Blu - Ray version, a Redux of the 2001 Blu - Ray HD, the Original version of the 1979 Blu - Ray HD, all enriched by
new and exclusive extra content.
The scan 4K has been executed from the original negative of the film, brought to new life in
Dolby Vision®, mixed in the Dolby Atmos® for the first time with the system Meyer VLFC (Very Low Frequency Control).
A masterpiece of the award-winning film recounts the journey of Captain Willard, on a secret mission, crossing areas of violent combat in Vietnam to take the life of Colonel Kurtz: his is a journey through the madness and absurdity of american involvement in the war, while it is being attracted increasingly by the jungle itself, from its primitive, mystical and immense power...
After the success at the box office with over 2 million collection from the 19th December, arrives on Home Video, “My brother chases the dinosaurs”, edited version of the DVD and in dual format COMBO (Blu-ray and DVD), accompanied by a booklet with a preface unpublished writer Giacomo Mazzariol and the first chapter of the homonymous best seller.
The Home edition Video also has many extras including the audio commentary of the film director Stefano Cipani and of the same Mazzariol. A true“Wonder Italian”, the film is adapted from the best-seller of the same name Giacomo Mazzariol, translated into 15 languages, and boasts a cast of characters composed by Alessandro Gassman, Isabella Ragonese and Rossy De Palma.
The story centres around Jack, a boy who has always wanted a little brother with which to play. When it comes to Gio, his parents tell him that he would have had
a brother who is “special”. With the passing of time, Jack discovers that in fact the brother has Down's syndrome and for him this starts to become a problem, so much as to incite him to hide his existence to the new high-school friends and the girl he loves.
Also on the 19th of December will be available “Diego Maradona”, published version
DVD single, DVD double-disc and COMBO, containing a Blu-ray and a DVD. All editions contain a booklet, an exclusive 16-page made in collaboration with The
Journal of Sport and a bookmark from the collection.
The edition double-disc and Blu-ray COMBO also will host over 100 minutes of extra content. Awarded at the Cannes film Festival with the prestigious L'œil d'or, the documentary tells the career, triumphs, vices and falls of Diego Armando Maradona, the greatest football player of all time.
Behind the camera, Asif Kapadia, award-winning director of “the Seine” (winner at the 2010 BAFTA for the best documentary) and “Amy” (winner Oscar 2015 as the best
documentary) who, using a repertoire of over 500 hours of footage for the most part unpublished, tells about the years in italy Maradona (1984-1991).
