Available from the October 3 edition of the DVD and Blu-ray the acclaimed tv series “The truth about the Harry Quebert”. Taken from the homonymous best seller by Joël Dicker, and produced by MGM Television, Eagle Pictures and Barbary Films, the series of 10 episodes starring Patrick Dempsey, best known for his role of Derek Shepherd, the “Dr. Strangelove” in “Grey's Anatomy”.
Behind the camera, Jean-Jacques Annaud, the director of cult movies such as “the name of The Rose” and “Seven years in Tibet”, which directs the story of Harry Quebert (Patrick Dempsey) estimated a university professor, in the past, a true icon of world literature, thanks to his masterpiece “origins of evil”. When the body of a young woman is found buried in his property, will be investigated for the murder and the concealment of the body of Nola Kellergan (Kristine Froseth), fifteen-year-old disappeared more than 30 years before in circumstances never fully explained, and with that Quebert had an affair in the summer of 1975. Over all, the iconic protagonist, Jena's Friend, played by Kurt Russell, who moves into a New York city become a huge maximum security prison - dark and spectral.
From the 23rd of October it will be possible to relive in the living room of the house the exciting story of the legendary Russian dancer Rudolf Nureyev, thanks to the editions and DVD COMBO (with double-disc DVD and Blu-ray) of “Nureyev – The White Crow”. The film tells the story of the decisive years of the life of the artist, who during his first tour in Paris managed to escape the officers of the KGB and ask for political asylum. The legend of the dance is played by Oleg Ivenko, which gives the face a Nureyev, a maverick, and a rebel. Directing the film (Ralph Fiennes, in his third work as director and performer of such hits as “the Grand Budapest Hotel,” “Skyfall” and “The English patient”.
