Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen – the new trailer compares graphics to the PS3 to the PS4
Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen, which is the full version of the game that will include also the DLC is coming out for PS4 and Xbox One. The base game of Dragon's Dogma was released in 2012, while its unique expansion Dark Arisen is the entry into the market the year after, in 2013.
The remastered version of Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen arrives in conjunction with the fifth anniversary of the release of the original game, and this new trailer shows how the graphics of the title has been improved for the new console generation.
The change is visible, through the use of the most accurate of the effects of light and shadow: the shadows on the dress of the character, for example, while they are almost completely absent on the PS3, give volume and three-dimensionality to the collection on PS4.
However, the improvement is not very sensitive and does not of course change the game, but Dragon's Dogma is a large game, and deserves to be supported, in the hope that Capcom may in the future decide to publish another game in the series for single player (is 2015 the release of Dragon's Dogma Online).
Finally, here is the new official trailer for the remastered version for consoles of the new generation of Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen:
Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen will be released for PS4 and Xbox One on October 3rd in North America and Europe, while in Japan the release date is expected with two days of delay, the 5th of October.
