Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2: announced Jiren and C-17 as playable characters
The march issue of V-Jump (Shueisha), available in Japan from Saturday 20 January 2018, will reveal the landing of the two (of the 4) new playable characters in Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2, the video game based on the franchise created by Akira Toriyama Dragon Ball, which in spite of the publication in 2016 continues to be fully supported by Bandai Namco Entertainment.
The two new playable characters are Jiren dell’11° the Universe and the Android Number 17 (version Dragon Ball Super). Jiren debuted in Dragon Ball Super in the current story arc of the Tournament of Power, and, currently, is one of the strongest characters of the whole franchise and is fighting against Goku and Vegeta for the salvation of his people. This is the first appearance in a video game for the console home of the latest generation of Jiren.
The two characters will be available in the occasion of the 6th DLC (called Extra Pack 2 that was announced last month) which will also present a new scenario of the game and the other 2 playable characters. In this new scenario, players will join the Patrol Time with their Masters, and to know a new character, it Was; a teenager mysterious with a ninja sword. His basic attacks use the sword, but is also skilled in long-distance. It has a look of evil and holds the key to solve this new story.
The magazine the manga reveals, also, the 6th DLC will introduce alternate costumes from the bathroom to Videl and C-18.
The 6th DLC will come in February 2018 through payments extra.

DRAGON BALL XENOVERSE 2 is available in Europe, Middle East, Australasia and Africa on the PlayStation®4, Xbox One, PC via STEAM® and Nintendo Switch.
