Detective Comics #1000: all details and covers
DC has released all the details of the celebratory and historical Detective Comics #1000 in addition to score the prestigious milestone, achieved only by the equally historic Action Comics last year – it also coincides with the celebrations for the 80th Anniversary of Batman, which debuted precisely on Detective Comics #27 in 1939.
The main story of the comic celebration of the 96-page will be written by Peter J. Tomasi and drawn by Doug Mahnke. The current creative team of the series will launch a new story arc and introduce in the continuity of the comic books Arkham Knight – the villain of the final chapter of the trilogy video game Batman: Arkham of Rockstar Games that Tomasi had already dealt with in the miniseries, Genesis connected with the game.
