DC: in April, close Titans and Damage, the new creative teams for The Terrifics and Nightwing
It will be an April full of surprises, the one labelled DC in the USA, with some closures and changes of creative teams.
We start from the three closures main: Titans will end its run with the #36, Damage with the #16 and Scooby Doo Apocalypse with the #36.
Some reflections on these three closures: difficult for Titans – as a franchise – is set aside in view of the great success of the TV series landed from the us on Netflix probable that it is this head which the Teen Titans, engaged in April, in a crossover with Deathstroke the terminator, will undergo a reshuffle and a raise maybe in the summer.
With the closure of the Damage the New Age of Heroes dwindles to just two titles, or Silencer, and The Terrifics. Finally Scooby Doo Apocalypse, revival in the modern salsa of the classic Hanna & Barbera, it seems more like a closing organic matter, and a cut for low sales given that the series was in the water, however, discrete.
Ending their run, the following mini-series: Electric Warriors with the #6, and Suicide Squad Black Files with the #6.
CHANGES OF CREATIVE TEAMS
The change of creative teams important there are essentially two, and relate to Nightwing and The Terrifics. The first series will be veteran Dan Jurgens, who will be the witness of another veteran Scott Lobdell, while the second comes Gene Luen Yang, already seen on the Annual in the series, with artist Stephen Segovia.
Other changes, “minor”: on Batman Beyond comes the designer Rick Leonardi, on Detective Comics instead comes Brad Walker (Aquaman, Sinestro).
Under the auspices Vertigo), Robert Venditti (Hal Jordan and the Green Lantern Corps, Hawkman) signature of the Six Days, the graphic novel war is set during the D-Day, which will be released in conjunction of the 75th anniversary of the event that changed the tide of World War ii, with pencils also of Italian Andrea Mutti.
For the eticetta DC Ink instead, there is a Raven – graphic novel signed by Kami Garcia and Gabriel Piccolo.
These, however, the remaining outputs, of course, watch out SPOILERS:
