The stories adapted are The problem of Susan (The Problem of Susan), Presides over October (October in the Chair), Curls (original title Locks), The Day of Flying Discs (The Day The Saucers Came"). The four stories are drawn from the collection Things Fragile, an anthology which the british writer has published in 2006, and collects stories and poems of various genres: horror, noir, science fiction and fantasy.
The comic book will be entitled The Problem of Susan and Other Stories (below you can see the cover).
The project will participate, in addition to the same Gaiman, the artists, Craig Russell (The Sandman), Scott Hampton (American Gods), Paul Chadwick (Concrete), and the colorist Lovern Kindziewski.
The story that gives the title of the book, “borrows heavily from children's literature, and is narrated through the eyes of a veteran university professor who will have a privileged insight on the past of Susan”.
The Problem of Susan and Other Stories “offers a new look towards the fantastic and wonderful worlds shaped by the stories that will shape the future generations”.
The volume will be published by Dark Horse Comics on January 23, 2019.
