Cubot is a chinese company known for its smartphone, with an excellent quality/price ratio, but for some time he began to produce other categories of products, always connected to your smartphone. This is the case for Cubot V2, a sharp smartband with OLED screen and functions for the tracking of physical activity and sleep. Scopriamola in our review published on TEEECH!

Cubot V2 is a smartband truly economical: costs less than 20€. On these figures, you can't expect a lot, but in our test, the product has proven to be quite reliable, even if not without flaws. Starting from the strap, not very comfortable and that returns the feeling “cheap”.

Positive OLED screen from 0.88“, always well-visible and which can be activated not only with the touches but also raising simply the wrist, in spite of this second mode of activation is slightly slower. Performance does not make sense to talk about it: the smartband is too little to be judged under this aspect, but it makes this just that: it monitors calories burned, steps and distance quite well, while sin sometimes in the monitoring of the heartbeat, but nothing serious. Unfortunately, there is no GPS, but the smartband will be able to use your smartphone by downloading the specific companion app. This, however, the IP65 certification, which guarantees the water resistance (in case of splashing), but not a dive.

The smartband also offers functionality to track sleep, with the count of the cycles of rest, and the chance to receive the remainder when we are going to too much time sitting or otherwise inactive. The product allows you to receive the (very strong) notification with vibration when you receive calls and messages (not the apps) but, unfortunately, not be able to be displayed on the schermetto. We will see only a simple icon, depending on whether it is SMS or incoming calls. This is also the option to take pictures remotely with your smartphone, but only through a specific app.

Pulling the sums, Cubot V2 is a cheap product that is worth what you pay for. Indeed, watching the price is surprising too. The possibility to use it both on Android and on iOS it is an advantage not to be underestimated.

You can buy the smartband Cubot V2 from MyEfox at a price that came in – currently – about 17€.
