Crisis on Infinite Earths: even Burt Ward will appear in the crossover
Crisis on Infinite Earths, CW will present an event on TV in DC's different from anything we have seen so far, and it seems they are enlisting a few familiar faces to do so. The panel of Batwoman at Comic-con in San Diego, it was revealed that the legendary actor Burt Ward, who played Robin in the TV series of the ’60s Batman, will play a role in “Crisis”.
Don't know if Ward will play a version of Robin, or if it embodies a new character. The Arrowverse has definitely played often with the old characters of the tv series of the DC, such as Lynda Carter, Dean Cain and Helen Slater. Flash for example has the following on-screen John Wesley-Shipp who played both the Barry Allen of the ’90s, but also a new vision of Jay Garrick.
Although the past decades from when Ward had originally played the Boy Wonder, certainly not stayed away from the DC universe, giving voice to the character in several animated films. As the actor said for years, you would not be opposed to having some kind of role in a new live-action:
“Of course!” Ward had declared to ComicBook.com in 2016. “I am an actor and I like to do everything that has to do with Batman, I also like to do other projects, I've done forty movies for television, you know, is a wonderful thing; Gotham is a great show and all I can say is that I'd be happy to do it, I'd be happy to any type of project. I like to work!”
