Conde Nast has used the iPhone 7 Plus for the cover photo
The publisher Conde Nast has decided to use the iPhone 7 Plus to take the photos used for the covers of two major magazines.
Specifically, Conde Nast has used photos taken with the iPhone 7 Plus as covers of the special edition of Traveler dedicated to the best places to visit in the world, and Bon Appetit.
The first cover shows a boat in the foreground run aground on a beautiful beach. The capture was carried out by using the Portrait mode of the iPhone 7 Plus. The second photo, however, shows a woman in the foreground intent to eat a popsicle in Oaxaca, Mexico.
According to the creative director of Conde Nast's Alex Grossman, “to use the iPhone for a photo shoot it makes the whole process more intimate, less invasive and also more agile as compared to using a classic slr. The aim of the iPhone is the way in which we look at the company through the photos taken with the smartphone“.
