Chris Evans does not exclude a possible his return as Captain America
Avengers: Endgame has concluded the story and then the story arc of some of the heroes most historic of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
While it will be impossible to review in the future, characters like Tony Stark and Natasha Romanoff, whose fate was already sealed, Steve Rogers is still living, and may in the future return to the centre of the story. Following the release of the scene from the franchise of Captain America, Chris Evans is back to talk again of his character.
When her friend and colleague, Scarlett Johansson asked him if he would return, Evans was cryptic and he answered thus:
“At Marvel? Never say never. I love the character. I don't know.”
Chris Evans has played Steve Rogers in the 9 films in the franchise, appearing a little time in the other movies like Ant Man, Thor: The Dark World and Spider-Man: Homecoming. Currently Rogers has handed his shield to Sam Wilson, setting in motion events that will lead the latter in the series The Falcon and The Winter Soldier, which will make its debut on the Disney+. Therefore, despite the conclusion of the story of the captain, Evans is not yet ready to definitely say goodbye to Captain America.
“It is not a no definitive, however, is not even a you excited,” he continued. “At the moment I'm working on another. I think that Cap is a role difficult to which to become attached, and I think they did a really good job allowing him to complete his journey. If he will have to be revisited, it will not be just a simple chat. It will not be so because the audience wants to have fun. What we want to reveal? What do we want to add to the story? Many things will have to join.”
Scarlet has then commented on the release of Cap from the MCU, defining his death as a “Beautiful final cathartic.”
