Charges abnormal on iTunes in Singapore, Apple investigates
Apple you are finding to deal with several cases of objections abnormal on iTunes in Singapore, as reported by the local media.
In Singapore, dozens of Apple customers have found recently of the fraudulent charges on their iTunes account. The most extraordinary cases relate to two users that have found the costs to be $ 7,000 on their bank accounts, all associated to purchases on iTunes by credit card.
The first cases date back to the beginning of July, and relate to 58 different cards of dozens of banking institutions different. Since fraudulent purchases proven, the transactions have been cleared but there remains the problem of security, so much so that Apple has launched its own investigation.
The customer service of Apple has informed the affected users that were not made purchases through their Apple account, but that the cards had been used from an iTunes account in a fraudulent manner. Apple has already taken steps to block all these fake accounts and is now looking into the matter to understand the origin of the problem.
