CarPlay Apple is now available for over 200 car models
Much has been talked about in the last month of the news that sees Apple put aside (at least for the moment), the design of an Apple Car. Fortunately, the Cupertino company continues to work on CarPlay.
The operating system developed by Apple for cars (a sort of revised version of iOS) is now available to more than 200 vehicles. The updated list see models of Audi, Honda, Mitsubishi and Volkswagen. There are also cars that will be launched only in 2017. Here you can see the complete list.
Currently it is not possible to do a numeric comparison precise with the Android Drive, the OS drive of Google, but both companies have signed agreements with the largest manufacturers of car. Please note that to use CarPlay or Android Auto, no need to buy a new car (that natively supports one of the two operating systems), there are in fact some interesting solutions in the aftermarket, such as the recently released XAV-AX100 Sony.
