The official web site and the network NHK dedicated to Card Captor Sakura has shown the new key visual of the animated series Card Captor Sakura – Clear Card Hen, which, inspired by the manga of the same of the Clamp, will debut on January 7, 2018:

Morio Asaka (Chobits), director of the first anime series and two animated films, he directed the anime at the studio Madhouse (Death Note, One Punch Man, Card Captor Sakura tv & film) on the scripts written and supervised by Nanase Ohkawa of Clamp.

Kunihiko Hamada (director of animation from the anime Sakura earlier) in charge of the character design, while Mokona of Clamp care the design of the cards and the costumes.

The manga of the same is in course of serialization from the 3rd of June 2016 on the pages of the magazine shojo manga Nakayoshi of Kodansha.

It is set during the first year of middle school, Sakura, and kicks off when an accident occurs after that the girl is a dream mysterious.
