Interviewed by BBC Newsbeat, Bryan Cranston (Breaking Bad, Godzilla, Power Rangers) has intervened on the case of Kevin Spacey, who was accused of sexual harassment: “it's a phenomenal actor but it is not a good person. His career is over.”

Cranston claims to have never seen sexual harassment in Hollywood, but “it is well known that to happen.”

“There is chaos between all these people who use their power or their status of power in any industry to force someone to do something that does not want to do. It is more than disgusting. It is almost animal-like. It is a form of bullying. It is a form of control. And is almost always exercised on the young men or women vulnerable at the beginning of their career.”

“This type of experience is not discovered until something happens.”

The Oscar-winning actor Kevin Spacey has been accused of molesting his colleague Anthony Rapp (Star Trek: Discovery) when the latter was 14 years old. Also several members, current or former employees, of the cast and crew of House of Cards, evidenced by inappropriate behavior on the part of the actor in the last few years, including appreciations heavy or physical contact inappropriate.

Accordingly, Netflix has fired Kevin Spacey from House of Cards. The actor was also removed from the new film of Ridley Scott, All the money in the world.
