Batman v Superman: that's why Bruce uses a spear and is casual sex
ComicBook.com and from Batman-News that Zack Snyder, director of Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, has intervened to TRUE in order to settle some matters about the film.
Bruce Wayne uses the kryptonite stolen from Lex Luthor to create different weapons to use against Superman. Most are high-tech weapons but, in the decisive part of the battle, Batman decides to use a spear antediluvian, with the tip of the kryptonite. The explanation of Snyder, among other predictable, is that it is a reference to the spear with which Longinus killed Jesus Christ. Superman will use it then to kill Doomsday as the Archangel Michael did to Lucifer. Is then confirmed the will of Snyder to make didactic the (questionable) metaphor inherent in the film at the expense of the verisimilitude of the dynamics of the narrative.
In the film, also, Bruce, a well-known playboy, has an occasional relationship with a woman. Snyder explains: “The photos of Robert Mapplethorpe represents the eroticism as a drug. Bruce uses sex to forget momentarily the pain.”
