The film should be divided into two parts, and already it speaks also of the original cast who will take part. For those not familiar with the original Batman: The Long Halloween is the Holy Grail, a touchstone of great importance for the mythology of Batman. Similar to The Return of the Dark Knight by Frank Miller, is a volume that has been echoed by many writers since it was published between 1996 and 1997. Written by Jeph Loeb with art by Tim Sale, the work is in the DNA of the trilogy of Christopher Nolan, and has given rise to many of the conventions that we expect from a good story of Batman.

Here is a synopsis of the Italian publisher, RW Lion: “In his early days of career, Batman must deal with a mysterious killer who kills on holidays. At his side, the district attorney Harvey Dent and lieutenant James Gordon. A noir tense and sharp as a knife, with the entire gallery of enemies of the Dark Knight to make her the mistress!”.

The film should be a film, a standalone that will not have connections with the c.d. Universe animated DC.

With regard to the vocal cast, Troy Baker, who voiced Batman several times, as well as the Joker, it seems, it will also return in this film. Jensen Ackles, star of Supernatural, which has its history in DC, having voiced Jason Todd in Under The Red Hood, maybe a young Harvey Dent?

Then we will see Naya Rivera, star of Glee, perhaps in the role of Selina Kyle, aka Catwoman. Then we have Titus Welliver, David Dastmalchian, Jim Pirri (who has voiced Mr. Freeze and Vandal Savage in previous films DC), Amy Landecker, Matthew Gray Gubler (who was the Riddler in Batman: Assault on Arkham), Katee Sackhoff, and Fred Tatasciore (who played Killer Croc and Solomon Grundy in the DC Super Hero Girls). So, all in all, a cast that is expensive that seems to ensure that the film will be well-supported financially.

No word yet on when it will be officially announced.
