After announcing his retirement from Batman, the award-winning writer Tom King has assured fans that she would still have worked with the iconic hero in DC; but instead of continuing with that headboard, King is now working on the history of the relationship between Bruce Wayne and Selina Kyle, already the subject most talked about of his run. The new series, Batman, Catwoman, was originally intended to debut on the shelves this January, but it seems that the first number has had a bit of delay.

Ads of the outputs of the January DC were released this week without mentioning Batman Catwoman. This may give your readers a cause for concern, so the King on Twitter has explained what exactly is happening. In three tweets total, King has told the readers that there is nothing to worry about, since the artist Clay Mann will illustrate the entire thing, and it will only take a little more time.

I know. We decided to go big.

While working on the initial issues of the Bat/Cat, @Clay_Mann_ and I started to realize we might have something good here, Mister Miracle or a Vision in the world of Batman, an attempt to do what Frank did with DKR, to the defining of the characters. 1/3. pic.twitter.com/1uGtFJfhbQ

“Then. We decided to go big,” wrote King. “While we were working on the initial numbers of Bat/Cat, [Clay Mann] and I have started to realize that we could have something good here, a Mister Miracle, or The Vision in the world of Batman, an attempt to do what Frank did with DKR, a definition of the characters.”

“But to achieve something so ambitious, it is necessary to reduce to a minimum the trade-offs. DKR was not full of designers. Then Clay has offered to do everything, 22 pages, but obviously she would need time. If the best designer says “let's do it well,” don't say no. But all of this means that the Bat/Cat will have a little delay, the reason for which is not out of January. The first scripts are ready, Clay them are drawing in now; it all looks beautiful; I hope you like it too, I do not see the hour that decoy. Thanks to all for the patience”.

But all that means that the Bat/Cat is pushed back a bit, which is why it's not in the January solicits. The first scripts are in; Clay''s drawing them now; they look gorgeous; I, hopefully like you, can't wait for this one to be out. Thank you all for your patience. 3/3 pic.twitter.com/KdI1diRcOk

It is not known now when the comic will make his debut, but from the one who said the King should not be a delay very consistent with respect to the date of January.
