Bari: the street artist Pao decorates the town-themed Lego
In these days, the apulian city will host the street artist Pao (artistic name of Paolo Bordino) engaged to produce a series of murals with characters Lego.
The initiative will also touch the cities of Milan, Rome and Naples. In Rome, for example, thanks to the students of the school of painting at the Accademia di Belle Arti, via della Frezza, has become the theatre of a live performance of art and culture, in which the minifigures Lego painted by the students have invaded the street.
In Bari, however, the Pao will draw on the walls of the kiosk of the garden of piazza Garibaldi and at the entrance to the children's Kite murals with messages of sympathy and unity: “I'm a fan of Lego construction since childhood – said Pao – passion that is now handed down to my children. I am immediately impressed because the characters I make are entered in the collective imagination, and the Lego construction are synonymous of creativity.”
