Forget the salad, the tomatoes and the cucumbers.
Leave aside even the onion.
For the bacon cheeseburger, the ingredients are very few.
Meat, cheese, and crispy bacon.
All seasoned with a spicy sauce and lustful.
The bacon cheeseburgher is my favorite version of the hamburger.
Creamy and full of flavour, with the cheese that drips from between the fingers.
When I want to trigger my umami bacon cheeseburger is always at the top of the list.
It takes very little time to prepare for the perfect bacon cheeseburger, house-made like the ones you see in american movies.
I bake it in the oven for convenience but you can also cook them on the barbecue grill for a flavor more decided.
Careful not to cook too much meat, must remain tender and juicy in the center.
And do not skimp when sauce is used, it must be abundant and overflowing from your bacon cheeseburger.

Preparation time 20 min Cooking time 25 min Total Time 45 min Difficulty 3 Preparation time 20 min Cooking time 25 min Total Time 45 min Ingredients 350 gr of minced mixed beef and pork 1 egg 50 gr of pecorino sardo cheese, grated 60 g breadcrumbs 1 teaspoon of spices for the hamburger Special Red Meat 200 gr of bacon slices 4 slices of cheddar mayonnaise, barbecue sauce, Heinz ketchup, spicy extra virgin olive oil 4 hamburger buns Instructions Prepare the dough for the burgers by mixing in a large bowl the ground with the egg,the cheese and the breadcrumbs. Add the spices and mix well, mixing evenly all the ingredients. Prepared four loaves of equal size. With the help of a meat mallet or hands to flatten a little the meatballs. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees and line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Place the hamburger spaced between them, drizzle with a little olive oil and bake in the oven. Let it cook for twenty minutes. Prepare a baking smaller and lined always with baking paper. Place the slices of bacon and bake in the oven. Cook for about 10 minutes, depending on crispness desired. In the meantime, prepare the sauce by mixing two parts mayonnaise and one part ketchup than barbecue sauce. Mix well and keep aside. Cut the bread in two and bake in the oven for a couple of minutes to seal it. Take the bread and sprinkle it with the sauce on the two halves inside. Place a slice of cheddar on the bottom. Remove from oven the bacon and drain the cooking oil. When you miss a few minutes at the end of the cooking of the burgers, place a slice of cheddar cheese over each meatball. Let the cheese starts to melt and strain. Remove from the oven and assemble your own bacon cheeseburger. Place a few slices of bacon over the cheddar and add a dollop of sauce. Cover with hamburger, garnish with the sauce and add more slices of bacon. Close your burger is ready to enjoy.
