Available watchOS 6.1 for all Apple Watch, including Series 1 and 2

Apple has just released watchOS 6.1 to the public after several beta versions, reserved exclusively to the developers. The update includes performance improvements and brings the support of watchOS 6 on the Series 1 and 2 of the Apple Watch.

Apple Watch Series 1 and Series 2 were excluded from the initial version of watchOS 6 last month.

Users with Apple Watch Series 1,2,3, 4 and 5 can now upgrade to watchOS 6. Beyond the support for older models of Apple Watch, watchOS 6.1 includes support for the new AirPods Pro, in addition to performance improvements and bug fixes.

watchOS 6.1 introduces support for AirPods Pro, and includes improvements and bug fixes. This update also brings watchOS 6 on Apple Watch Series 1 and Series 2.

Users of the Apple Watch Series 1 and Series 2 troverannoi several new features in watchOS 6. In fact, the update brings new app on the device, including the app for the calculator, voice memos, and audio books. watchOS 6 also marks the introduction of an App Store dedicated to apps for Apple Watch.

Users will be able to search, discover and download the app directly from their watch, making the device less dependent on the iPhone.

Apple has also released watchOS 5.3.3 to the public. This update is for the people who don't have an iPhone capable of running iOS 13, and then may not upgrade to watchOS 6.
