ASRock Mars, mini PC ultra slim with Intel Core i5 and the SSD PCI-E
ASRock has expanded its offering of mini-PC and announces the new series Mars, a line of mini-PC is characterized by a compact size and performance can satisfy the users, but without too many pretensions. ASRock is not new in the segment of the miniPC and has a catalogue of enough provided, ranging from models of low-consumption (see ASRock BeeBox-S, 2016) to more powerful (and bulky) as the DeskMini GTX Z390 presented last year.
The mini-PC and Mars belong to the strand of mini-PC low-profile with a processor TDP content: the chassis of these systems measure 191x150x26 millimetres and is expected to support Intel quad-core processors up to Core i5, and all dissipated by a cooling system active owner.
ASRock offers four different variants, the more powerful, equipped with a processor Intel Core i5-8265U (4core/8thread and Turbo to 3.9 GHz), support for up to 32GB of RAM DDR4 2400 MHz and a department storage with SSD M. 2 PCIe 3.0 x4 and SATA hard disk drives 2.5-inch.
