As usual, The CW has released the trailer for the new season of the series in the Arrowverse (which, remember, will be involved in the crossover Crisis on Infinite Earths), of which we report also the latest news directly from the panel of San Diego Comic-Con.

Confirmed as a regular of the series, the protagonists of the narration from the future, Katherine McNamara, Joseph David-Jones and Ben Lewis, respectively, as My Smoak, Connor Hawke, and William Clayton. The actors are added to the already well-known cast consisting of Stephen Amell (Oliver Queen), David Ramsey (John Diggle), Rick Gonzalez (Wild Dog), Juliana Harkavy (Black Canary), Colton Haynes (Arsenal) and Katie Cassidy (Black Siren). To interpret the child's post – Flashpoint of Lyla and Diggle, as well as, in the future, the leader of the gang of Deathstroke, JJ, John Diggle, Jr., instead it will be Charlie Barnett (recently starring in the critically acclaimed series, Netflix Russian Dolls).

“Since we began planning the eighth season, we all knew that would be the last: he knew Greg (Berlanti), he knew Stephen (Amell), and I knew I also. If everyone is talking about it, the project ends up being concrete, it was a logical decision. The good news is that, unlike de The Throne of Swords or Lost, we do not have to answer any question: we do not have the weight of deciding who will sit on the iron Throne, nor to define what really is an island, so it will be a final much more focused on the characters. We know what you should and must do, and therefore we may do the words of the producer Marc Guggenheim to the ComicBook.

Revealed also the concept art of the new costume of Laurel Lance/Black Siren, seen in the new trailer:

The premiere of the final season is scheduled for 15 October.

The villain will be Bloodwork, played by Sendhil Ramamurthy. Known as Dr. Ramsey Red and old colleague of Caitlin, riallaccerà relations of friendship with her after an unexpected event, the first to break the laws of nature and transform into the villain the more disturbing that the Team Flash has ever faced.

The premiere of the sixth season, which will also Monitor (as confirmed by Grant Gustin) will arrive on The CW on October 8th.

In the trailer we see the consequences of the discovery of the Lena of the true identity of Supergirl: confronting Kara, the threaten to strike her in the deep, right in the fields in which the heroine holds more. From this first trailer we see how Lena, although now much more similar to his brother, Lex Luthor, is more a wounded woman in the deep that a true villain.

“This season there will be a real fight for the soul of Lena,” explains Melissa Benoist to Entertainment Weekly, “I was devastated by the fact that it was just Lex Luthor to reveal this secret to a character that Kara holds a lot. It was very painful for me”.

The cast will join Julie Gonzalo (Veronica Mars, Dallas, Eli Stone) as Andrea Rojas/Acrata, while Staz Nair (the Dothtraki Qhono The Throne of Swords) will play a character exclusive to the series, the cynical reporter, William Dey. Meaghan Rath will be the female version of Brainiac – 5.

In the first season of the Batwoman, Kate Kane will be targeted by some of the villains of the world Batman: among these, it was announced Tommy Elliot, who in the course of the episodes will become the villain Hush was created by Jeph Loeb and Jim Lee.

“In the third episode, we find an iconic villain of Batman who wants to kill the Dark Knight,” the words of the writer Caroline Dries on the magazine Entertainment Weekly, “But Batwoman will be the only vigilante in the city. There are bad guys with their own characteristics, but only Kate is in “costume”. It is very nice to look at the other series, The CW, because it is the universe of which we are a part, there is a kind of influence of the first season of Arrow. We aim to present all the technology available to Kate, in the most simple way, that will be the big star in the scenes of action; I love them, but what I love the most are the romantic elements of the series, because for Kate, it is very important to the personal life and what she does when she is not Batwoman. Understand why there has never been a mrs. Wayne, how difficult it is for a hero to reconcile his two lives. One of the problems that will be faced is precisely this: to try to understand how to be Kate Kane, and Batwoman at the same time”.

“The first of a series about superheroes, is a series of the family,” explains Nafessa Williams, with Cress Williams, who adds: “it's like a drama of the family with the addition of superpowers”. The series will return on The CW on October 21; the cast are Cress Williams (Jefferson Pierce/Black Lightning), China Anne McClain ( Jennifer Pierce/Lightning), Nafessa Williams (Anissa Pierce/Thunder), Christine Adams (Lynn Pierce), Marvin “Kondron” Jones III (Tobias Whale), Damon Gupton (Bill Henderson), James Reman (Peter Shanks) and Jordan Calloway (Khalil Payne/Painkiller).
