Apple replaces free of charge the defective battery in some iPhone 6s
After you have launched the program of repair (for a fee) the touch screen of some iPhone 6 Plus defective, today Apple launched a new program of replacement of the battery on different iPhone 6s.
Apple has determined that a “small number” of iPhone 6s turns off unexpectedly, even when the battery is not fully discharged. This problem only affects some iPhone 6s manufactured between September and October 2015. The company invites all the clients that have noticed this problem to go to an Apple Store or an authorized Apple for the free replacement of battery if the device is defective.
Will the Apple employees to verify that the serial number of the iPhone 6s is manufactured between September and October 2015 and then eligible for free replacement of the battery. Apple invites users to call the service center to know for sure if the iPhone 6s in their possession falls within the free replacement.
The replacement program covers the defect of the battery to three years from the sale of the device. Customers who have already paid for the replacement of the same, and which are included in the program, they may request a full refund to Apple.
