Apple reminds developers to prepare for the Dark Mode in iOS 13

One of the major changes coming to iOS 13 is the Dark Mode, which Apple says will bring a new dramatic look on the iPhone and iPad. Before the release of the software in the fall, Apple has reminded developers to prepare for the arrival of the dark mode.

In an update to developers, Apple explains the basics of the Dark Mode, and provides a link to documentation on how to support the new look.

The notice of Apple developers:

The Dark Mode introduces a new dramatic look for the iPhone and iPad that is perfectly integrated in the whole system and simple to activate from the Control Center or using Siri. With a dark appearance for all elements of the user interface, the content of your app becomes the focus.

When a user has enabled the dark Mode, all apps created with the SDK of iOS 13 will be executed in dark Mode. Find out how to optimize it for the Dark Mode, and then test your app on a device running the latest beta version of iOS 13, or iPadOS.

Apple says that if the developers need more time to bring up the app in dark mode or if you do not want to support the new feature, you can give up.

With the dark Mode enabled, apps like Messages, Notes, and Apple's Music take on an appearance more dramatic. But it is not the only aspect; The dark mode should be more pleasant to the eyes than the white we're used to.
