Apple promotes Face ID in the new spot humorous for iPhone

The latest commercial of Apple for iPhone proves humorously as a Face ID is the most convenient and secure than the Touch ID for authentication of the user.

At the time of the middle of the summer, the 30-second spot depicts a man sleeping on a recliner in a yard. After receiving a trio of notifications of iMessage on his iPhone XR, raises slowly to the bed to align his face with the iPhone and unlock the device with Face ID.

The messages come from a friend named Craig, who asks the man if he still has intention to leave, suggesting that the two had an appointment. Instead, the man returns immediately to his nap next to his dog. The ad is aptly titled “Nap” and features the song “Nice” of the Grammy Award winning DJ Latroit.

Face ID debuted on the iPhone X in 2017. At that time, Apple has stated that the probability that a random person could unlock the iPhone X someone else was about one to 1,000,000, against a 50,000-for Touch ID.

The announcement is part of the marketing campaign Apple “That's iPhone,” which promotes both the hardware and software characteristics of the device, such as encryption, iMessage, the privacy of the App Store, the recycling of the materials iPhone and water resistance. “Face ID is even more simple and secure Touch ID. This is the iPhone.“
