Apple presents new MacBook: same design, next-generation processor, more autonomy and new pink gold finish

Apple today updated the MacBook with Intel processors of the last generation, superior graphics, flash storage faster and an extra hour of battery life, further enhancing the Mac thinner and lighter than ever. The unibody enclosure made entirely of metal, the MacBook is now available in four aluminum finishes: gold, silver, gray, sidereal, for the first time on a Mac, in the beautiful pink gold finish. With a stunning Retina display, 12", a full-size keyboard incredibly responsive, trackpad, Force Touch, a versatile USB-C and a battery that lasts all day in a design that weighs less than 1 kg and is often only 13.1 mm, the MacBook represents the future of notebooks.

The MacBook up to date incorporates the latest Intel Core M dual-core processor of the sixth generation of up to 1.3 GHz, with Turbo Boost speeds up to 3.1 GHz, and memory is still faster at 1866MHz. The new Intel HD Graphics 515 delivers graphics performance up to 25% faster, while the flash storage based on PCIe allows you to do everything faster, how to start the app or open the file.* The MacBook is the portable perfect to use every day, all day, thanks to its excellent autonomy: up to 10 hours of wireless web and up to 11 hours playback from iTunes movies and tv shows.**

The MacBook also has a USB port-C incredibly compact and versatile for charging, data transfer and video output. All with a single connector from the size of a third of a traditional USB port. After the introduction of the USB-C on the MacBook, the ecosystem of accessories from Apple and third-party technology, USB-C has continued to be enriched with new products, offering users more flexibility and possibilities.

With no moving parts or fans, the MacBook offers efficient performance and quiet. Designed for a world without wires, the MacBook is equipped with the latest wireless technologies, including Wi-Fi 802.11 ac and Bluetooth 4.0 for wireless connectivity ultra-fast. The MacBook is perfect for operations such as streaming content from the laptop to the Apple TV via AirPlay, the fast transfer files with AirDrop, or the use, of wireless headphones.

Today, Apple has also made the memory to 8GB standard on all models of the MacBook Air 13".

Every new Mac comes with OS X El Capitan, the most recent version of OS X that redefines the way you experience the Mac and improves the performance of the system. El Capitan resumes the functions of the revolutionary and beautiful design of OS X Yosemite, and introduced improvements in the management of the windows, in the built-in apps in the Spotlight search, in addition to boost the performance to make it even more quick and snappy, the activities of all the days, as I open the app and PDF, switch from one app to the other, or check email.

iMovie, GarageBand and the suite of apps, iWork are standard on every new Mac. With iMovie, you can create beautiful videos, while GarageBand lets you create music or learn to play the piano or the guitar. The suite of iWork apps Pages, Numbers and Keynote, you can create, modify, and easily share stunning documents, spreadsheets and presentations. With Pages, Numbers and Keynote for iCloud, you can create a document on iPhone or iPad, edit it on your Mac and collaborate with friends and colleagues even if they are using a PC.

The MacBook is available today on Apple.com and will be available from tomorrow at Apple's retail Stores and select Apple Authorized Resellers. The MacBook is available with processor Intel Core m3 dual-core 1.1 GHz with Turbo Boost speeds up to 2.2 GHz, 8GB of memory and flash drive 256GB at €1.499, and with a processor Intel Core m5 dual-core 1.2 GHz processor with Turbo Boost speeds up to 2.7 GHz, 8GB of memory and flash drive 512GB to €1.829. The possible configuration options of the order (CTO) includes a processor Intel Core m7 dual-core 1.3 GHz processor with Turbo Boost speeds up to 3.1 GHz.
