A new patent, Apple shows us a potential development of the TrueDepth Room that might recognize the hands, and gestures in the future.

The patent, which appeared recently in the network, shows a system of detection of the gestures and of the hands by TrueDepth Room, the same one mounted on the iPhone X.

The feature is called 3D hand-tracking, and should not require any kind of external hardware. It is therefore possible that, in the future, the facial recognition system of Apple is also extended to the hands.

As usual, this is a patent then there is no confirmation or additional details. We will update you if we learn more about it.
