Apple is working on a most powerful battery for the iPhone 2019
According to the analyst Ming-Chi Kuo of KGI, the functions of detection, 3D and augmented reality provided for the rear camera of the iPhone in output in 2019 will require a greater energy consumption, so much so that Apple is already working to find solutions to increase the capacity of the battery.
In a note sent to investors, Kuo predicts that Apple will produce batteries more powerful, both for the iPhone 2019, and for the ones in output in 2020. To achieve this goal, Apple will optimize the size of semiconductors, systems-in-package and printed circuit boards to reclaim the space that will be occupied by batteries.
Also, since the 2018 Apple should use the technology to rigid printed circuit board (RFPCB) on the batteries of the new iPhone, disproving the rumors about the use of flexible printed circuits (FPCB). Kuo explains that the batteries FPCB require more space, forcing Apple to have to sacrifice something in terms of power. Compeq and Unimicron should be the suppliers of the circuits RFPCB that Apple will use from 2018 onwards.
It will be confirmed also the design L battery, already seen this year with the iPhone X. All of this will also power the new rear camera that will offer more and more functions associated with advanced 3D and augmented reality.
