Apple head access with Face ID and Touch ID for iCloud on iOS 13, and macOS Catalina beta

For the beta testers of iOS 13, iPadOS 13 and macOS Catalina beta, Apple is testing a new sign-in process for iCloud on the web. When we arrive on beta.icloud.com a device in which is installed a beta version, we can now access our account using Face ID, Touch ID.

When we visit the iCloud in Safari on a device running the iOS beta, iPadOS or macOS, we will see a new pop-up that asks us if we want to access using our Apple ID with biometric data. On a device equipped with a security ID, it means access with Face ID, while other devices, including the MacBook Pro compatible with Touch Bar, use the Touch ID.

When we visit iCloud.com on a device running the beta, we will be automatically redirected to beta.icloud.com. If this does not happen, we can manually enter the URL in the address bar to test this new feature.

This is a new feature that is quite ingenious and is probably part of the first attempts of Apple to test the Sing in with the Apple. Access using Face ID, Touch ID on iCloud.com it is much more simple and secure than the manual insertion of logon information.
