Apple has reduced the production of iPhone 11 Pro 25%

Rosenblatt Securities has come out with a new note for investors that not only details the expectations on the iPhone 2 and the iPhone 12, but also speaks of ' production plans of Apple for the iPhone 11 to the release of new models.

Jun Zhang, an analyst with Rosenblatt, says that Apple is cutting production of the iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 11 Pro Max 25% for the quarters of December and march. In total, Zhang foresees that the production of the iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 11 Pro Max reduced by 60% quarter-on-quarter to march. This decrease in production can be attributed to the waning interest for the smartphone 4G, according to the analyst.

On the other hand, the analyst is Morgan Stanley's Katy Huberty is disproving the claims of Zhang on production cuts. Huberty claims to have met recently with the CFO of Apple, Luca Maestri, and the partners of the supply chain in the last two weeks and it seems that the iPhone series 11 is strong across the board (via Street Insider).

What is important to keep in mind is that, most of the time, Rosenblatt is incredibly bearish on AAPL. The company has reaffirmed its position of “for sale” on AAPL with a target price of $ 150 per share. Apple shares are currently valued at approximately $ 267 per share.

Other analysts were far more optimistic about the line of iPhone 11. In particular, it is said that the iPhone 11 sells much better than expected, while the iPhone 11 Pro “also exceeds the estimates in the United States“.

In the same note to investors, Rosenblatt predicts that Apple will release a total of six new models of the iPhone 12 during the fall of 2020. This would include a basic model called the iPhone 12 4G with an LCD panel 6.1-inch display and dual camera on the back, as a result of the iPhone 11. The note continues saying that it will be rolling out two variants of iPhone 12 Pro with OLED display 5.4-inch and twin rear cameras. The difference between these two would be the connectivity to 4G and 5G.

With regard to the band, according to Rosenblatt Apple will release the iPhone 12 Pro Plus, available in the variants 4G and 5G. There would also be an “ultra premium,” which will be called iPhone 12 Pro Max, is available only in one configuration 5G.

This prediction is different from that of Ming-Chi Kuo on the line iPhone 12. Kuo last week said that Apple will release four new iPhone OLED in 2020 and the iPhone IF 2.
