Apple has activated the single sign-on feature on the beta of tvOS 10.1 and iOS 10.2: this feature allows users to authenticate in a single step all of the multiple applications of streaming TV with the various credentials.

Starting from yesterday, users who have downloaded the beta of tvOS 10.1 and iOS 10.2 may then share the login information of the app dedicated to the various services streaming: with a single access set only once, you can authenticate the accounts of all these services with just a click, either on tvOS that on iOS. In practice, it is a kind of universal access that is valid for a variety of applications, all related to the services TV streaming, which allows the user to avoid having to enter the credentials to access these services.

To initialize the single sign-on, users must enter their credentials inside the settings “Account tvOS”, both the Apple TV on the iPhone, even if at the moment the function is limited to a few services stream (all available in US only).
