According to the European Environment Agency, an adult tree removes more than 21 kilograms of carbon dioxide from the atmosphere every year. If you want to be useful to the cause, do your research on the web using the engine, non profit, Ecosia, which invests in advertising revenues to repopulate deforested areas all over the planet.

The Explorers is an app designed by photographers and film makers united by an ambitious goal: to create a visual inventory of every species of animal and plant on Earth.

The app allows you to see the extraordinary natural wonders of our planet, like the crystal clear waters of the Marquesas islands or the fascinating dunes of the Kalahari desert, to the highest possible resolution (the latest models of iPhone and iPad support the 4K HDR).

The slogan of the developer is: “better Know to take care all the best.” We could not agree more.

Beyond Blue is the new game Apple Arcade that takes inspiration from the mysteries of the deep blue and by scientists who have studied it, and that contains new videos of the BBC.

In this adventure into the world freely explorable, dress up clothes, or perhaps it is better to say the wetsuit, of Mirai, a researcher marina, swimming in the waters of the ocean teeming with life. You will meet the playful dolphins and cephalopods bright, all represented so wonderfully precise.

In the course of creating the game, developers E-Line Media have consulted some biologists, each of which has played a key role in the creation of this underwater adventure. “During the exploration, get the support via radio to the two scientists, whose personalities and the challenges they face are inspired by the stories of the scientists that we interviewed,” says Michael Angst, ceo of E-Line.

The first time you meet Mirai is engaged in the research of a group of sperm whales, and plumbs the depths in search of the “click” sound, the typical sound of the animal. Each time you complete a mission using modern technology to search for the shipments, you will unlock one of 17 video Ocean Insights. These original mini-documentaries combine the filming of the Blue Planet to the interviews of the scientists who helped create the game. While you will learn more and more on the path of Mirai as a marine biologist
