Ant-Man 3, and Paul Rudd talk about Cassie Lang as Stature
In a recent interview with ScreenRant, Paul Rudd, interpreter of Scott Lang/Ant-Man, has spoken of the possibility of seeing Cassie Lang, daughter of Scott, in the role of Stature in a possible third film in the saga.
“It would be certainly an interesting hypothesis, I think that the central parts of the plots of this series are the family relationships, especially between father and daughter: the one between Scott and Cassie, and also the one between Hope and Hank. Everything seems to be a family affair and I think it would be a good idea to present Cassie as Stature,” says the actor.
As we all know, in the comics, Cassie, after you have obtained the abilities of Giant-Man, joins the Young Avengers, the characters that the president of Marvel Studios Kevin Feige said he is willing to put in the new Marvel Cinematic Universe.
In the meantime, Ant-Man and The Wasp will proceed directly to the events of Civil War, with the initial scenes show Scott Lang under house arrest. The new condition seems however not to disturb him and, indeed, takes advantage of happy the more time available for spending time with his daughter Cassie. Like hawkeye, it seems not to do without the life from Ant-Man.
Meanwhile, Hank Pym and Hope van Dyne continue their work in the laboratory and seems not to have liked the selection of Scott to side with Captain America, so much so that you feel for throughout the film of the marginalized. The encounter between the same Ant-Man and The Wasp will be short, and the two will be immediately catapulted into the battle.
