Angelina Jolie: “I didn't think I would become a mother”
While her ex-husband Brad Pitt has been in the weekend with a parody of Anthony Fauci, staged on during the Saturday Night Live, Angelina Jolie has decided to speak to the american people through an article written in his own hand, and published on Time.
The actress has decided to speak of her experience with motherhood and wanted to send a message to all parents that, in this delicate moment, you are struggling with the questions of the children on the COVID-19.
“I have not had a youth very stable.” explained the 44-year-old “In reality I never thought that I would be the mother of someone. Remember, however, the decision to become a parent. It was not difficult to love. It was not difficult to devote myself to someone and to something that was bigger than my life. However, it is hard to understand that from that moment on had to be me to make sure everything went well. That I had to manage it and make it work. From the food to the sole, up to the drugs. I would have had to be patient, whatever happened.”
“So now, in the midst of this pandemic, I think of all the mothers and fathers with children at home. They all hope to be able to do everything in the right way, respond to all the needs and to remain calm and positive... It's nice to discover that your children do not expect to be perfect. Just want to be honest.”
