Andy Serkis, the host of the Late Show David Colbert, did everyone have fun reading the tweets of Trump, with the voice of Gollum
The tweets of Donald Trump, overseas, are often the object of satire, but that its effect, listen to the twittering of the President of the United States with the voice of Gollum?
The opportunity presented itself on the Late Show on CBS, thanks to the guest of the episode, Andy Serkis, the actor famous for his portrayal of Gollum/Smeagol in " the twilight saga de the Lord of The Rings by Peter Jackson.
The iconic character of bipolar Gollum remained in the memory of all, thanks to the wonderful interpretation of Serkis, who created the movements, the expressions, and, above all, the voice of the ambiguous Smeagol then realized with the aid of computer graphics.
Andy Serkis had intervened in the program on the occasion of the release of the film the War – The planet of the apes, in which the actor has lent his inimitable talents to the gestures to portray Caesar, the leader of the army of monkeys.
In fact, Serkis is now specialized in the interpretation/creation of characters with the technique of motion capture as Gollum, King Kong and Caesar.
After several questions about the new film of the saga of The Planet of the apes, the conductor David Colbert asked Serkis to read a tweet from Trump, with the voice of Gollum.
Readily viewers have started an ovation, especially when the actor is placed in position, crouched typical of Gollum. The effect is absolutely hilarious and you can see it in this video:
The presenter has also asked Serkis to say “covfefe”, a typographical error written by Trump in one of his now famous tweet that has gone around the world.
A funny episode that highlights, once again, the great talent and the humor of Andy Serkis.
