Amazon Prime Video will be available in a few days for the Apple TV
As already announced during the WWDC 2017, the multimedia service of the giant e-commerce Amazon Prime Video would seem to be finally coming to Apple TV.
Apple and Amazon seem to finally have managed to find a trade agreement. With an application designed ad-hoc, according to an engineering video of the colossus online, Amazon Prime Video is about to be released for tvOS on the 26th of October. In the panorama of services that offer original content in streaming, the application of the giant Amazon was the only one amongst the largest to be not yet supported on Apple TV.
Probably the policy of Apple for the management of subscriptions was not to be a genius to Amazon, that includes the Video service within the Prime membership, one that is usually used on the site to take advantage of the free shipping and fast delivery.
As we know, the content offered by the service, Amazon Prime Video, you can see on any computer, tablet and smartphone, iOS included, but not on Apple TV. The absence of the dedicated app had left to assume the existence of intertwining bureaucratic behind-the-scenes that finally seem to have had a positive impact for all owners of the small set top box black Apple. All we can do is wait for that date.
Currently it is not yet clear if the service will be released the same day also in Italy, or if we'll have to wait a few more weeks to be able to use it. We will update you in case of news about it.
