Alphabet, shareholders denouncing the board of directors for cases of harassment relating to senior executives
The board of directors of Alphabet has been denounced by the investors for the management of cases of alleged sexual harassment involving leaders, high-profile, in particular Andy Rubin, one of the founders of Android, and Amit Singhal, the head of the division Search up to 2016. In both cases it holds that the board of directors would have had to sack them without too many concerns, instead of offering settlement of multi-million dollar (Rubin speaks of 90 million dollars, even if he denies).

In the long term, the decision of the heads of the Alphabet has caused damage to tangible to the company: "hundreds of millions of dollars," says one of two causes, both for the settlement itself, both the image damage, both to the lost productivity of employees who participated in the "walkout" protest in October. The middle range without compromise?
