Alien 5 will be a worthy end for Ellen Ripley
Sigourney Weaver has revealed during an interview that Alien 5 will be a worthy end for Ellen Ripley
We already know that the next Alien 5, directed by Neill Blomkamp, has been postponed in the expectation that Ridley Scott terms the sequel to Prometheus, Alien: Covenant. In the past few hours, Sigourney Weaver was interviewed by Entertainment Weekly, which wanted to emphasize his sadness for the postponement of the shooting; and took comfort in the fact that Alien 5 will be a worthy end for Ellen Ripley, the character in the saga of the Alien made famous by the same actress.
We have a screenplay fantastic. Fox has asked us to postpone the film so that Ridley Scott could turn the second Prometheus. It was a pity because, at this point, we would have already finished. Now that we are waiting, I have a couple of Avatars for you to do, and Neill must turn The Gone World. Then we'll have to see what will happen when we return, and these projects will be completed
It's a great story and is satisfying to me to give a final to this woman. There are many unique things in the script, but also meets the primary needs of the aliens. It is a tribute to all of the great work done by the other directors, but also brings the story in a new direction. I hope that we will be able to do it.
These are the declarations of the Weaver, that is going to add to those a few days ago where the actress has revealed that Alien 5 will not take account of the existence of Alien 3 and 4.
