The following article contains spoilers for those who have not seen Avengers Endgame, currently at the cinema.

The events of the Marvel Cinematic Universe have often had a connection with what was happening in the department of television of Marvel Studios, especially with the series of channel generalist main Disney, ABC, Agents of S. H. I. E. L. D. Era was, for example, the episode of the first season is totally connected to the events of Captain America: The Winter Soldier, but the other arcs have involved the counterpart film to the House of Ideas.

Now that the Usa is going to get the sixth season of the show (may 10), which will also be the penultimate, with Avengers Endgame to earn big box office in theaters, the question arises as to what will be the links with the serial. Given that at the end of the fifth season, with Infinity War in the halls, Tony Caine/Candyman said to Daisy: “aliens, you know? Seen what is going on in New York?” in reference to the invasion by Thanos and his followers to retrieve the Gems of the Infinite, a mission as we all know ended with a snap of the fingers from the part of the Titan's Crazy and 50% of the world population disappeared in the nothing.

The co-showrunner of Agents of S. H. I. E. L. D. Jed Whedon has confirmed to TVLine that, in spite of, precisely, the last episodes of season 5 are set during the Infinity War, no consequence is seen in terms of disappearances for Coulson and his team [aided by the fact that Coulson had the months counted in the history and that could be the last season, the renewal will come after, NDR].

When it was announced a premiere summer for season 6 (then early in may), many speculated on the fact that much time would have allowed it in the Endgame to resolve the damage created by Thanos before anyone of the S. H. I. E. L. D. could be involved in the cancellation of the mass.

As seen in Endgame, the actions that allow the Avengers to handle the situation happen five years after the events of Infinity War, while the premiere of Agents of S. H. I. E. L. D. will open a year later. At this point, we can easily deduce that the characters of the serial are to live in a world of post-pop, even if none of the agents had been cancelled (how many were the chances? In the Endgame all have lost someone). Whedon has stated that it is a sort of unwritten rule of the Marvel not to refer too temporally to the events – even if it is just on this that is based Endgame, ED. Then – at least for the moment, and according to the logic – series and the film, this time it's not interfacceranno, despite they did with Infinity War

Not all, however: in the Endgame during the visit at the S. H. I. E. L. D. 1970 from Steve and Tony, we see not only Hayley Atwell portray Peggy Carter, the great love of Cap that he find himself in the final, but also James D'arcy to resume the role of Jarvis, the butler-handyman Howard Stark (even if to interpret it is the more “elderly” John Slattery and not the Dominic Cooper in the series Agent Carter). One more reason to miss the other series ABC/Marvel.
