Action Comics #1000: read the full story of Simonson & John
After showing a preview in its entirety the story signed by Tom King (Batman, Mister Miracle), and illustrated by Clay Mann (Batman) – you can read here – DC has released another of the stories that will appear in the commemorative Action Comics #1000 in output in the USA next April 18.
Let's go back to the Superman of the ’90s with two of the most important signatures of that era for the Man of Steel and not only the pen of Louise Simonson and the pencil of Jerry John.
The story is called “Five Minutes”:
The register will also see the official debut of Brian M. Bendis – who will take in hand the reins of Superman and Action Comics from June – accompanied by Jim Lee, and will also see the contribution of some important authors, including Paul Dini, Scott Snyder, and José Luis García-López, Jerry John, and many others.
Action Comics began its publications in 1938 – and taking into account its various raises and rinumerazioni – is the series and prosthetics longest-running currently published. On the pages of Action Comics #1 (Joe Shushter and Jerry Siegel, published a character that would have given life to an entire genre: the Superman.
