Three memorabilia about Steve Jobs, including a rare application for the recruitment of the former CEO of Apple, will be available soon for auction. Jobs has filled in the application in 1973, shortly after leaving Reed College. On the document, pointed to “Computer”, “Calculator”, “Design” and “Tech” as his ability.

Along with the questionnaire, the site also has the intention to put out to tender two documents that have the signature of Steve Jobs. The first is a manual of the Mac OS X that Jobs signed in 2001. Behind this signature there is a short story, as told by the current owner, and which we quote below:

It was afternoon, at the end of my day placement and I had just entered my car when I saw Mr. Steve Jobs and enter into his. I lowered my window and called him. He asked me if we knew. I rest that I knew perfectly who he was and immediately asked him for an autograph on my the technical manual of the Mac OS X. Refused saying feel strange in doing so. But I gave in. After my persuasion, he told me to finally pass it in the manual and a pen. He said, “hand me those,” and autographed my manual.

The third document is a clipping of a newspaper dating back to 2008, which shows a photo of Steve Jobs while giving a speech at the Worldwide Developers Conference, during the presentation of the iPhone 3G. Jobs signed in daily at the shop, Fraiche Yogurt in Palo Alto (California), and eating a yogurt with Tony Fadell, who signed him to the newspaper.

Steve politely refused several times, saying that all the Apple was the fruit of the work of the group, and therefore could not take credit for it all and autographed the article. My mother is quite persuasive and managed to convince Steve to make the autograph; but to the condition [of Steve Jobs] that even the person who sat with him at the time he signed the article. That friend turned out to be Tony Fadell, known to be the father of the iPod, which at that time was working for Apple.

The auctions for the three documents relating to Steve Jobs, that surely will gorge to many, will be held from 8 to 15 March, the work of RR Auction.
