Startup OnwardMobility from Texas received a license for the production of smartphones under the brand Blackberry. Previously, he belonged to the Canadians, then it was bought by the Chinese TCL, and from August 31 to cooperation with the brand will cease.
As reported, the novelty will be based on Android and will get a physical QWERTY keyboard. The issue is scheduled for 2021 in Europe and the United States. The device specifications were not disclosed, however, according to The Verge, the new product will be targeted at enterprise customers.
