Huawei, Honor, and Fitbit are working on new wearable wrist. The rumors are outputs all of them “simultaneously” – in the last few hours, a short distance from each other.
Here’s what emerged:
In this case, the information comes from the database of the EEC, that is, Eurasian Economic Commission, but in recent weeks the device has been also certified with the FCC and other similar bodies around the world.
The code name should be the VID-B19, and in respect to family, Watch GT 2 currently on the market, the big news should be the support of wireless charging. The built-in battery seems to have the same capacity as that of the other models – 455 mAh, in other words. Don’t know anything else. It is, however, reasonable to expect that the presentation will be in conjunction with the new family of smartphones Mate 40, let’s say within a few weeks.
This is a preview of the official, published by the Honor directly on his channel, Weibo official. The post anticipates the name of the product and its destination: the hikers and mountain lovers. Unfortunately there are no details that are more concrete, and the accompaniment, but the release should not be too far away – the chief executive George Zhao said that the last test of the finished product are already in progress. If we were to guess, we could hypothesize a smartwatch rugged, with a good autonomy and a GPS with tracking quality, but who knows.
The first two are smartwatch, the third is a smart band. WinFuture has published a series of renders of all those products; unfortunately a kit there are a few concrete information, but there is some information that can be deduced from the images.
To begin with, no physical buttons of any kind – maybe there is a surface sensitive to pressure, but nothing more. Also, looking at the written in case you learn a water resistance up to 50 ATM (what does this mean?), voice control, and GPS. The difference is that only the Sense it has an icon in some way related to the heart rate, although both show very clearly to possess the related sensors. We can then deduce that the Sense has something more, but we don’t know what – maybe an ECG, like on the Apple Watch?
Fitbit Versa 3
Fitbit Inspire 2
With regard to the Inspire 2 there is not much to say. The previous generation is born to offer more or less the same characteristics of the better known Charge, and the prices a little lower.
